2011: In august my bf gave me a old and tiny monoprice tablet and i was very ecstatic to start making digital art! I drew a lot but never went out of my comfort zone and i was pretty satisfied with my mediocre art :iconpapmingplz:

2012: This was the year i took a good look at =Namie-kun 's art work, saw how much she improved and decided i wanted to do the same. I got my very first DD on an art piece that was for a contest //that i didnt win lol// I drew for about 8 hrs a day and I went though so many style changes and experimented a lot. I was really unsure on how to improve so i just did a lot of imitating and following tutorials :'D

2013: This was the year i did probably over 100 commissions //screams I didnt have a lot time to experiment like i wanted to especially since my mom had her baby and things started to get really difficult. I attended my first anime convention ever and and sold in the artist alley with =Steamed-Bun and *ShadowedPorcelain and while it was very stressful i learned a lot and still managed to have fun! In late December is when i started to buckle down and really get back to the basics (something ive been avoiding for the past 2 years) and drawing 8 hrs a day again //even if its just sketches//

I learned a lot over the past 2 years of doing digital art //omg its only been 2 years i cant believe it //weeps
Im looking forward to another year of learning and progressing!

Next year goals are:

*learn the basics //composition, lighting, form, dynamics etc.
 *Draw more men
 *Do more backgrounds
 *Draw pictures that have meaning
 *Draw more

You've improved so much! Everyone is doing these as the year is ending, ahaha. I'm in the middle of doing mine.. omg, the art from 13 year old me is SO cringy. I'll probably post it tonight.

But honestly, between 2011 and 2012 I can really see you came out of your comfort zone, that's something I could really do with myself tbh, I feel like I'm holding myself back a lil..
omg. such a huge improvements! O_O <333

Oh wow. You started digital drawing at the same year and age as me. I find it interesting how two people's styles can vary so much in different aspects within the same time frame. Keep up the good work!

Just how, how can you improve so much in only 2 years?!?! :faint: Just as you said, you managed to draw a lot each day, but... your improvement it's amazing! You have to be very proud of your talent and work! :D
